Death of an Inner Circle
« Thread started on: Sep 3rd, 2009, 10:05pm » |

From the moment someone is born one thing is guaranteed DEATH!
Over the years the Twilight Circle freaked it like no other Inner Circle ever has but the time has come to lay this Inner Circle to rest. We had a great time playing Morton's List together but friendships decayed and so did our group.
On August 29th surviving members Mutant13 and Batz laid the Twilight Circle to eternal rest. Together they burned ever piece of Twilight Circle history including their Quest Logs. One of the hardest things to get rid of was the ultra fresh Twilight Circle Evidence File and the Kane Hodder autographed machete given to us at Adventure Con '08.
Batz and Mutant 13 have both sacrificed all of their degrees earned playing Morton's List. Together they formed a new brotherhood and shall continue to roll the boulder and obey the roll. Watch for a new IC to form in the dark mountains of East Tennessee. You called us a cult you have seen NOTHING YET LOL.
Prepare yourself for the BROTHERHOOD OF SANTA MUERTE!

Our evidence file was a binder full of dope pictures from all the quests the Twilight Circle had done together. Each page was a hand made collage made by me to document our past quests that we had done together. The Twilight Circle is no more so we no longer needed the file. I have most of the pictures on my computer but all the heart and hard work I poured in to the group seemed to haunt me.
As for the Kane Hodder machete that was easy to burn because when were a broken circle when we got it autographed. It wasn't about Kane Hodder's signature but that he had gave it to us.
I burned almost 400 Quest Logs and that was a hard thing for me to do. I have always loved the memories of the quests with my closest friends but we have drifted so far apart that it seems like I was another person back then. Now Batz and I start from 0 and have vowed to freak quests like never before. Some of the quests we did not give 113% to so this time around we will be dedicating much more to each quest. I'm sure everyone that has ever played ML for awhile has had a few quests that they didn't give it their all. From now on we are going to give it our best effort no matter how long it take to complete a Quest. I can't wait to take on this new challenge and start on a clean slate.

Understandable. I used to have alot of friends not when I had ML but they all just kinda vanished and started hatin on me and KrooKiD for no reason. Now that we have ML it kinda gets depressing because other then me and my 2 homies no one else plays with us. No biggie though were holding in and i'm sure things will get better. Anyhow best of luck to you mutant and batz you too homie. If we ever meet up, We should toss the boulder around. It'd be nice to play with some well experienced players for a change you know.

That bites, but it's also cool that you're both still willing to play Morton's List and start fresh. I've actually been thinking about dissolving all my degrees and Quest Logs to start over again. I almost kind of feel like some of those degrees were earned by default and that just doesn't feel right to me. I'm about 75/25 on this whole idea.
Again, good luck to you guys and your new Inner Circle.

For now let us relish within... the lotus. Our father in Shangri-La. Hallowed be thy name. If the world turns over, save me from the fire rain. Keep me pure. Keep me clean as the lotus grows. I ask you for forgiveness. Keep me from the crows.

Shit If only we all lived in the same general region as eachother then we could start like a super team of listers and lettes.. Cause man where i'm from we're the only people in our town that even play ML.. Trying to get other people interested. Like the book says.. Feeblos will stay at bay. People fear shit they just don't understand... So it's kind of hard trying to find people willing to do so... I've told my brother in law whos a juggalo and shit, he seem'd interested but no word yet, first dude we offered was our friend brad but no word from him yet... so send some karma our way if you can much obliged.
